What do customers say?

Matt's Latin BBQ trades on affordable rotisserie chicken, pork pernil, and sides for dine-in, takeout, and catering across South Orlando. Long-time regulars praise the generous portions and value, with staff members Treacy and Jaky noted as attentive. However, recent visits reveal a widening gap: reviewers report the chicken has become noticeably blander and drier than it was two years ago, rice sometimes grainy, and sides occasionally hard or oversalted. A few report poor service interactions when requesting portion adjustments. The best experiences now come from those who haven't visited in a while or who focus on sides like fries and sweet potato.

Sonny's draws steady praise for generous, smoky BBQ and standout service-notably staff member Jeanette earns repeated mention-at fair prices. Catering comes highly recommended. A few reviewers noted dry pork and floor cleanliness concerns, but most see this as reliable, satisfying BBQ.
